Retro :- Jumbo in the town

It was on January 8th , 2007, an elephant visited my hometown. There was a mini circus going on near my house and this elephant was brought in from Thailand to do some stunts and scare kids.The elephant jokey wanted to make some extra money, so rode the elephant to Indian houses to give blessing. My mom gave RM 5 for a blessing to Kishan. I only managed to snap 2 photos.

Silver Surfer

I'm not a big fan of Fantastic 4, but I love The Silver Surfer . The movie was kind of short, but I really enjoyed the actions from the surfer . The only thing about the movie is ,according to this source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_Surfer , He can heal living beings, though he cannot raise the dead, but in the movie , he raised Jessica Alba from dead . Maybe I am missing something about the surfer, if anyone knows about this, please help me out.

Training

Two weeks ago I attended an Effective Presentation Skill training at Bayview Hotel . The training is all about how to give effective presentation in front of people. I required to choose any topic to give the presentation. As usual , I gave presentation about Manchester United , THE BEST FOOTBALL TEAM in the world. The training conductor gave me comments, they were



i) I have Indian accents when I give presentation . ( ala Samy Velu I think )

ii) I should increase my voice tone ( like sapranos )

iii) I should use bigger hand gestures ( like Mr. Bean ?)

This is Jaya. The most 'decent' and good looking guy in our group. He is jovial, smart and funny.So as usual he is the girls favourite .He travels to KL alot, sometimes for reason , and sometimes for no reason. Working as a Business Planner. He started his career when he was 21, when I was doing my form 6 . He has established himself in his career.Btw he is not the owner of Jaya Catering, Penang.
His real name is Desmond but we call him 'Katte' because he is short. His physical appearence is his advantage to attract girls coz he is cute, bubbly and and,,sometimes can be very annoying. Working as a post officer at Post Office of course. He is the man of the house after his father pass away 4 years ago. Such a strong guy who can face all the obstacles in his life with a bottle of JD in his hand of course.
Patta or his real name is Vijay , is simply superb. He has a Malaysian Books of Record for taking 7 years to complete his diploma in 3 diffrent colleges. His main advantage to attract girls is his look as Datuk!! He drives his uncle's fancy cars so most of ppl here always misunderstand that he is a Datuk. His hobby is change hp and job every month.He is good in planning we go out for shopping or clubbing. He is our trip planner. Patta you rocks man!!

Last Friday, I met with one of my best friend , Ishwar. As usual, we went to Nasi Kandar Khalil, near USM and we had our favorite item over there Tandoree Chicken. Our ex-lecturer Mr.Sailendra could not make it. So I called my ex workmate Hong Chun who is currently working at Dell , to hang out with us . I introduced Ishwar to Hong Chun . As both of them have worked in F&B line before, they talked about pubs , beers and police raid in pubs for 30 minutes while I was nicely enjoying my teh tarik with Tandoree Chicken .

I was supposed to watch the movie with my chat friends , Xp and his gf Kogi, but they couldn't make it. So as usual I went alone.The movie was ok,,but i still prefer Spiderman 2. The movie finished at 11.30 pm. I couldn't go back home after the movie as the rain started to pour heavily. I parked my car outside.I waited with other movie mates for 30 minutes in front of Queensbay's main entrance. An old Malay uncle was standing beside me and he said ' adik jangan tunggu lama-lama, nanti hujan turun lagi kuat, lari saja la '. I told to him ' tak boleh uncle, dalam bag saya ada laptop, nanti basah , susah'. Then he replied back ' tak pe , esok jemurkan di bawah matahari, pasti ok'. .............. I managed to get a plastic bag from Starbucks and covered my bag with it and i just ran towards my car. huh.,what a day, it was.

It was a lovely sight at Stamford Bridge, Money FC players gave guard of honour to Man United players , you know the Champions of England!!

After 2 years of hard work, I completed my degree last year. My graduation was held at Hotel Istana on 19th of November 2006. Due to transport problem, only my parents followed me. My sisters could not make it. I snapped all the photos with my k750.

I met up with Punesh bro who came back from his trip from Thailand. We went for a movie called Paratai (which means messy hair in Tamil, what a title ,yea) .

We went too early to cinema at 9pm as we thought we movie was at 9.30pm. So to kill off time, we went to Swenses in Juru Auto City

As I mentioned earlier , we went for a movie a called Paratai. I tell you guys, it's the worst movie I have ever watched in cinema. I didnt bring a rope to the cinema, If i had I would have hung myself in the cinema.

I rushed back home to watch UCL Semi Final game at 3 am . United lost 3-0. Milan played better than United. Milan rested 6 players, in their last domestic game , so the team performed really well. United looked really tired.if United had not have lots of injuries, they would have been through. Past is past , domestic double , here we come!!
