My KL Bus Trip

I went to KL for Purple Lotus' Birthday a couple of weeks ago. Since I traveled alone, I took a bus service called Matahari Bulan Express ( Sun Moon Express ). I was so excited with the name of the bus company and quickly jumped inside .

I noticed they just installed a new seats inside the bus, since it's new ,it was very comfortable

I was reading this wonderful book for few hours

These girls were sitting next to me,,once the driver started the engine, they immediately start to sleep...they were sleeping so nicely as if there competing each other in sleeping competition.

Now this is the bus service which I would like take next time when I go somewhere far far away from Penang. The bus service is called Aeroline , and in Penang, their station in located in Queensbay Mall. I am sure some of you have taken this bus before, if you have please share with me your experince. The ticket price is a bit expensive than normal, buttttt..check out the key features :-

BackupURL

BackupURL creates instant cached copies of webpages. This is handy if you require the content of a web page to stay the same while you share the link they provide. The cached page can also be used for referencing or even mirroring data. They announce the cached page will always be online (html,css,images) no matter whether the original site is up or down. But my experience was the site wasn't stored in their database 10 days later.

You do not need to register to use BackupURL however being a member allows you to save a list of websites you have cached. This makes it easier when looking back.They are doing the same as Google Cache, Yahoo Cache and the WayBackMachine. The only difference is what they are doing is not automated.

Me, myself and my colleagues

Last week, my manager organized a small game in our weekly team meeting. The intention of the game was to find out about what the team members think about each other.

This is how to play the game.Give a blank paper to the team members. Stick the papers at the back of everyone . Then, take turn and request your team members to close their eyes or ask them to sleep for a while . This is the time where you can write about them on their papers :D ..simple right? Well I don't mind sharing here about what my colleagues thought/think about me :-

Responsible :- Personally I think I am responsible , worst case scenario I will believe that I am being responsible ...why? coz man become what he thinks

Stone :- One of my co worker think that I always look Stone a.k.a BLUR. Well I have to
agree with him/her, coz normally I look blur due to lack sleep or too much
Guinness Stout.

So Far So
Good :- I am right on track :D

Stressed :- A wise man once said that 'Brain cells create ideas. Stress kills brain
cells. Stress is not a good idea '. When I was a chain smoker, I was good at
handling stress. Since I am no longer a chain smoker, I use music to handle my
stress :D

Football
freak :- This is well known fact. I am proud supporter of the BEST CLUB in the world,
Manchester United heheheh

2 Thailand :- I am not surprised with this comment and I clearly know who wrote this
,,hahah,coz this person thinks that I am super duper flirter..


well, it was one of beautiful moments in my life when I got a chance to find out about what my colleagues think about me ( even if the opinions were not genuine) . Look at the bright side , at least one person think I am being responsible haha,

Digsby

I am not sure how many of you all aware of this program,Digsby. I have been using this program for the past 1 week, and I am very impressed with it. Here are the pros and cons of the program :-

Prons :-

* Can check emails ( Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail .etc ) using Digsby. You don't have to login to each site to read your emails.


* If you chat a lot, you can integrate all your chat contacts within Digsby. You can add all your msn contacts, Yahoo messenger , Gtalk and even Facebook chat . I know there are few programs, like Pigdin and Trillian can do this, but I prefer Digsby, coz it's small, faster and easy to use.

* Another cool feature is you can update, check your messages and read the contents of your social networking sites like Facebook, Orkut, Myspace and all other s**t. Everything here, you do not have to open multiple browsers :D





* This is the little notification (image below) that pops up when somebody IMs you or sends you a message. Its pretty awesome as you can reply right through it and don’t have to open the window


Cons :-

* I noticed that facebook chat connection is not stable ( without firewall). It's frequently getting disconnected .

* When use Digsby behind firewall, the chat connections to MSN messenger and Yahoo Messenger suxx big time.

Overall, Digsby's attempt to be a one-stop shop for communication is an initial success. Hope newer versions will fix the bugs . Give it a try , have a nice day
