Tauge Ayam Ipoh

Finally, we found the way to the shop. The shop is called Restaurant Ong Kee (Tauge Ayam )..

This shop is located at Gerbang Malam Ipoh, almost 9 out of 10 restaurants around that corner sell Tauge Ayam..so , if you are there, go to one junction.... close your eyes , spin fast for 1 minute , then stop, open eyes , then go to the shop in front of you.

Not surprisingly, the tauge came first

Pork balls...errr...I mean, Pork meat balls..aiyoo you know what I mean,,

Fish balls...this one everyone can understand coz Fish doesn't have balls wkaakka

Amazing chickens!!! If you go to Ipoh Tauge Chicken is a must!! Damn tasty...it's a bit expensive , almost RM 10 per person,,but it's worth it!!

Ipoh Mali

After our tiring trip to Kellie's Castle , we went to Ipoh to have our lunch at 4pm...trust me, it was very very exhausting..we decided go to Ipoh to have Taugeh Ayam :D :D..but we lost!! Non of us knew the way to the shop..so we stopped at Ipoh Railway Station for a while until Gayathri a.k.a Colgate Ambassador to call her friend to find out about the way to the shop..while they were doing that, I was taking some snaps...

Have you ever wonder how Ipoh got it's name? Last time, I asked my fren, he said, long long time ago, one British fellow was eating lunch for the first time in Ipoh and when he was eating it , one big housefly was flying around him ,,he got so annoyed,so he asked his butler ( an indian ) to chase away the big monster housefly.. first he tried to sing a song from MGR movie , but didnt work, then he screamed at the housefly Eeee ( which means Housefly in Tamil ) ,,Pohhh ( Go away)..and he was kept on saying it Eee Pohhh ,,,Eee Pohh ,,Eee Pohh,,until the housefly flew away..the British man was so impressed with his butler and he screamed loudly " This is Ipohh!!!"...............I believed this story for 30 years...until I saw this tree

it's called Ipoh tree, they named the town by this tree!!! what the hell...what about the story my fren told me??????

Fallout 3

I am back after 3 days of ITIL foundation training. It was challenging but managed to answer all the questions hehe,,let's hope for the best :))

I finished Red Alert 3 , 2 weeks go.,,.RA2 still better than RA3..So, I bought Fallout 3 and started to play it last week. I must say it's good, but scary to play at night hhehe,,here is the review from IGN

9.5 Presentation

The atmosphere and style are everything you could ask for and more. A few bugs and camera issues keep things from perfection.

9.0 Graphics

The landscapes are wonderful. The character models and animations could be a lot better.

9.5 Sound

Excellent voice acting and a soundtrack that completely fits the game's mood. The sound effects aren't bad either.

10 Gameplay

A rare combination of excellent combat and deep role-playing.

9.5 Lasting Appeal

A more focused experience than much of what Bethesda has created in the past that begs to be played for hours and hours. This is one game you won't soon forget.

Kellie's Castle | Part 2

let's continue ....

that's over excited Prasath..keke

There is a small river near the castle

Indian labourers brought over to Malaysia to work on the mansion still live nearby even now. The money to built the temple in the picture was given by William Kellie Smith. This temple is located few meters away from the castle . I heard from my friends that there is a secret tunnel from the castle to the temple.

So funny, we did not see a single ( maybe they had tiny photo of him ) photo in the castle William Kellie Smith, but we saw a clear photo of him in the temple.

That's the mini statue of William Kellie Smith beside other Hindhu holly statues. it's clearly shows how much respect he had among the indian community in that place.

Kellie's Castle | Part 1

After we paid our last respect ( by taking lots of pictures ) to the warriors , we went to Kellie's Castle in Ipoh. No one has been there except for Prasath. He guided us the way to the castle .

The entrance fee for Kellie's Castle is RM 4.

This tree is called Bear Face Tree. See properly, can see a bear's face. But we guys noticed that it looked like girl's *toot*..anyone agree?

Did you know that was used as a setting in the 1999 film Anna and the King....

Prayer's room

Rumours are saying that William Kellie Smith's spirit has been wandering around in this alley. Too bad, did not manage to 'meet' him that day.

Maxwell Hill Land Rover Ride

2 weeks ago, I went to Maxwell Hill a.k.a Bukit Larut in Taiping with my working mates. Taiping is just 30 minutes drive from my place and that was the time I went to the hill. Prasath joined us from KL , thanks man.

These powerful Land Rovers will bring you up to the hill. It cost RM 6 per trip.

About Maxwell Hill ..alternatively you can read about it here

The group

Me with Prasath

The road was very narrow, lots of sharp turns, , U turns but, the driver drove very fast. it was really fun !! I really loved it!!

This is the drivers way of giving way to another Jeep.
