IT Dinner @ Hard Rock Hotel

Last month I attended my department's dinner at newly opened Hard Rock Hotel, Penang. The theme was beach night. Here are the snaps :-

Some games were going on around the hotel, and I wished I could join this game, but Malar did not allow huhuh

I played this game, it's called Coconut Bowling..it's simple just roll over the coconuts against mineral water bottles and try to hit strike ..I did not win this game because there was no proper bowling track on the road LOL

Masquerade Night 09

Last month, my department organized an annual department dinner. The theme of the dinner was masquerade. It was my first time attending masquerade party :D

The party was held at Cititel , Penang

The Zorro won the best mask prize :D

The birthday babies in quarter 3 of this year celebrated their birthdays :D

She won Epson scanner for the best dress of the night

That's me with my mask. Do I look like Robocop? I bought it at Toysrus only for RM 5. Maybe that's why I did not win anything hahah,,but who cares..I had a good time!!

Let me quickly give ratings for these new movies I watched recently ,,,then you can scroll down to read about today's topic haha

Wolverine :- 7/10,,decent movie with good story line but lack of 'kick' hahah

I know I shouldn't compare this movie with Star Wars but end of every movie only one question I asked to myself,,Did this movie satisfy me?.for this movie the answer is no,,my rating 6/10

2 weeks go, 2 managers from Costa Rica were here. So, we invited them to play futsal at Bukit Jambul Complex. Here are the snaps and a video

Vimala's Birthday 09

Last week, we celebrated one of our colleague Vimala's birthday at Apex Coffee, Bayan Avenue, Penang. ( next to Queensbay Mall )

We chose this location after reading the review about it here.

This is Rose tea, even though it may sound girlish, but my guy friend drank this tea :P

Dragon Fruit Juice,,,,highly NOT recommended

I ate this, Thai Fried rice,it was good,,,really really good ..must try if you go there

I realised that I still had some area in my stomach, so I ordered this Mango Pudding,,how was it? 10/10



After heavy meal, I suddenly felt sleepy and had minor headache, it was 10.30pm only but I realized that I must stay awake until 12.30pm to watch Man United game against Spurs!! So, I ordered Apex White Coffee...the first sip made think I was really in Old Trafford at one moment,,coz damn good!!.,,it's another MUST HAVE item when you go there

5pm to 6pm

It was my regular dinner break time at work from 5pm to 6pm. I went with Malar to Queensbay.Within this 1 hour, I did few interesting things, check out below



5.15pm - The next day was my first sister's birthday. I did not know what to buy. But Malar suggested me to buy ear rings for her. We went to this shop where you can get all girl's makeup & their accessories stuff..and Malar selected this ear ring for her. Beautiful rite?

5.30pm :- We went to Queensbay's food court to get food. Malar bought Apom Balik and I bought this drink, ginseng chrysanthemum tea. I was surprised to see ginseng's root inside the tea. The drink cost me Rm 2.50 ,which I think was pretty cheap as it has gingseng root inside the drink. Now about the taste...it didn't taste good but knowing the fact about it's health benefits I kept quiet and just drank it

5.40pm :- After 10 minutes, I suddenly felt hungry. I ordered this super delicious vegetarian meal .

5.45pm :- I always enjoy to see my gf when she is eating, so I enjoyed every moment of her bite hahah

5.50 pm :- As we were on the way back to our car, we noticed a long queue for Sushi King's RM 2 promotion . We are not a big Japanese food though .

6.10pm :- We reached at office and we were 10 minutes late haha,

Wii Bowling

2 weeks ago, I took part in internal Wii Bowling mini-tournament in my office at Chill Out Zone . The winner from this mini-tournament, will play against our big boss Paul Clark who will be in Penang, Malaysia this week. :D...Since I had few real bowling experience before, I thought I could win so easily. In fact I even thought of playing blind folded, but aihh,

When come to my turns, I tried with so many styles to throw the ball using the Wii remote,,first I tried with Casual Style

then i tried with Street Fighther's Ryu style...still did not work

Finally I tried with Rambo style,,tak jadi juga ish ish

That's the final score..I got last place,,but if the game was played in Arab Saudi ,,I would have won it.,,.why? Coz over there ppl read from right to left wahahah
