Arun's Farewell

I took a short break from blogging as I had to take care of my mom who was admitted at hospital. She is ok now and recovering well .

Last month, I joined in a small farewell celebration for my co worker , Arun . Arun is from India and he has been working at Intel, Penang for past 4 years. He decided to move to UK for better career opportunities. Here are the snaps :-

So after 2 days , we went to Sunset Bistro to have real farewell celebration for Arun

We booked a room at D`Ferringhi . The room was small and it cost us Rm 200 per night. It's a standard rate around Batu Ferringhi area.


The next morning, we went to Anandha Bahwan , Tanjung Bungah to have brunch. We had a good food, good talk and good time. it's nice to knowing you buddy, hope to see you soon!!

Lunch at Chili's

Last month, me and Malar went to Chili's at Gurney to have lunch.I have been there once, but she has never been there before. I knew at night it always difficult to get a place to sit and eat immediately..normally have to wait at least 30 minutes..so knowing this fact we decided go to have lunch at Chili's.

For lunch, we waited for 5 minutes to get a table. May it was a lucky day for us haha

We really really had good meal..superb food with superb price haha,,overall rating ..9/10

Bandar Sunway Old Town White Coffee

Yesterday I got this new digital camera , Sony T90 . It has all the basic functions which I need. You can read more about the camera over here.


A couple of weeks ago, me and Malar went to Bandar Sunway Old Town White Coffee to have lunch.Since I have been Old Town in other branches before , I wanted to go there and eat the famous Nasi Lemak.

Then we noticed this new promotion's pamphlet on every table ...Hainanese Chicken Chop+Rice+Fresh Lemon Tea = RM 9.80,,not bad eh

Breakfast @ Apex Coffee

Since I tasted the food at Apex Coffee for the first time, I decided to bring Malar to have breakfast at the restaurant.

At 10 am, we did not see many customers

Malar really liked that white coffee

Apex White Coffee,,it's one of my best coffee I have ever tasted,,must try this if you go there

Breakfast set for Malar :- Red beans+ ham+Egg+toast bread+vegetables

This was mine,,Omelet with sausage+ red beans+toast bread+vegetables

The price? Rm 13.25 for both of us,,,I know it's pricey for a breakfast,,but once in a while should be ok :D :D

I have to remind you that, the sea shore was damn dirty ( full with junk food wrappers ) and water was muddy..so don't even think about going inside the water !!

Bagan Ajam R&R | Part 1

Last week, me and Malar went to service my car. It was 40,000 Km service and I knew it's going to take at least 4 hours . So, I requested Malar to bring her car so that we could go to Bagan Ajam R&R. What's so special about the place? ok..I will tell you in 2 parts hehe

The R&R is located just 10 minutes drive from Butterworth Jetty

We went on Wednesday morning, but there were only 2 people enjoying their breakfast. Most of the shops were closed. I heard the place is crowded at night.

I ate this chicken pau, so so only,,My all time favourite pau is Cia-Su Pau.

My HP Printer Story

I had one Hp printer last year. But just after 1 year of guarantee period, it spoiled. So, my sister bought a new printer, and guess what,the same brand!! HP..this time the vendor said, they have fixed few flaws in the hardware and somehow the salesman convinced my sister to get this printer. But as if like Nostradamus predicted , the printer completely went offline in a couple of weeks after the purchase .

So , I called the customer service department and they said that it could be the power adapter.

In 3 days they sent me a new power adapter. But , same thing, I could not power up the printer. On other hand, my sister was hunting for birds' feather to write something using ink!!

I called the customer service department again and managed to convince them to send a brand new unit. I received this new unit in 2 days.

The new unit works ( of course coz it's new!! ) haha,,the best part was to get all these replacement units I did not go to the vendor shop which is located 40 Km away from my home..!!Thanks HP :)

Wolverine :- 7/10,,decent movie with good story line but lack of 'kick' hahah

I know I shouldn't compare this movie with Star Wars but end of every movie only one question I asked to myself,,Did this movie satisfy me?.for this movie the answer is no,,my rating 6/10
