Plusmiles

Yesterday I went to the nearest Plus customer service to reload my Touch n Go card. I saw a big banner promoting about Plusmiles card and 5 % rebate. I am a heavy highway user. I use highway daily for my work and I use Penang bridge almost everyday. I wanted to know more about the card.So , I requested the lady at the counter to give me a pamphlet and a form to apply for the card.




After read through the pamphlets , here are the pros and cons: -

Pros :-

i) PLUSMiles program :- is a customer loyalty program. It is specially designed to reward customers who use PLUS and ELITE highways.

ii) E-statement :- able to check transactions statement online

iii) Discounts :- offers and exclusive discounts at selected merchants ( Including KFC )

Cons :-

i) Limit :- You MUST use RM 200 and above per month

ii) Annual Fee :- Registration fee is RM 10.00 and an annual fee of RM 10.00 will be imposed beginning from the second membership year.

iii) Rebate :- The calculation is only based on one (1) month usage and could not be carried forward. So you must reload your card with minimum RM 200 per month.

iv) Processing Fee :- RM0.25 will be deducted from your toll rebate as processing fee. I wonder why they still need to deduct annual fee .

I haven't decided whether to apply for this card or not, because my toll usage is less than Rm 200 per month. If your toll usage is higher than rm 200 per month, then you can enjoy this. If not , it's a really good benefit for lorry owners :P Have a nice day
